As someone who started contortion at the age of 27, I have come to learn how much we tend to underestimate our body’s ability to adapt, learn and change. I am passionate about making people aware that flexibility is not a practice reserved for children or those with a dance/ gymnastics background. 

Method

 It is a common belief that ‘tight muscles’ are the only thing that limit flexibility and that stretching them is the solution. However, there are indeed MANY physiological and biomechanical roadblocks (aside from muscle tension) that inhibit progress.

My coaching approach employs a variety of techniques to help you achieve true, safe progress in your flexibility.  Such techniques involve:

  • Active flexibility/ strength training

  • Safe, static stretching 

  • Nerve mobility and neuromuscular stretching 

  • PNF stretching 

  • Correct warm up/ cool down techniques
